Ubiquinol is an important lipid-soluble component produced in the body that works on the fatty parts of the body such as cell membranes and blood lipids. Ubiquinol is CoQ-10 that has been converted into an active form. The body converts Ubiquinone to Ubiquinol back and forth many times a second, so both forms are necessary. Levels of CoQ-10 are known to diminish with age, therefore so do the levels of Ubiquinol and with it the ability of cells to regenerate.
